Due dates for 2009-2010 CHM Reappointment, Promotion & Tenure Actions

  • January 4, 2010 – Department due date for submission of reappointment, promotion & tenure forms to CHM Faculty Affairs & Development, A101 East Fee Hall
  • February 26, 2010 – College due date for submission of reappointment, promotion & tenure forms to Provost's Office
  • April 30, 2010– Provost Office due date to notify Dean of the actions taken by the Provost's Office
  • May 7, 2010– College due date for Dean to notify Chairs/Directors of actions taken by the Provost's Office

INSTRUCTIONS AND FORMS

The Reappointment, Promotion and Tenure (RPT) process in the College of Human medicine begins at the department or unit level. Departments/Units have specific timelines, procedures and criteria for their faculty. Faculty must first meet these Department/Unit criteria before being considered at the College or University levels. Faculty should familiarize themselves with their department/unit timelines, procedures and criteria prior to submitting a request for promotion and/or completing the required forms and other documentation.

II. Fixed Term/Health Programs (HP)/Non-Prefix Faculty

Fixed term faculty follow the HP criteria, guidelines and Form HP-D (below).

c) Community Based Non-Prefixed Faculty
(Flint, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Saginaw, Traverse City, and Upper Peninsula)
